Elisa Bistro & Terrace

Our commitment to high-quality products from our own garden, local producers, fresh fish from Lake Brienz, veal from the neighboring farm, and Swiss wines remains the core of our philosophy. These principles, paired with a dedication to the art of cooking, are a matter of course for us and the result of a consistent pursuit of our path over recent years. We now share this philosophy with our guests in the cozy and relaxed ambiance of the "Elisa - Bistro & Terrasse".

The "Elisa" – named after Elisabetha Grossmann, the beautiful boatwoman of Brienz – offers, in addition to the classic Giessbach dishes at lunchtime, a selected à la carte menu in the evening. The highlight of the evening offering is our "Tour du Domaine", a sharing and surprise menu that showcases the best and freshest creations from our estate. Overlooking the stunning Lake Brienz, "Elisa - Bistro & Terrasse" has been created as a haven of indulgence in the heart of the Giessbach Nature Park.

Each year, Gault&Millau and the Michelin Guide recognize the best restaurants in Switzerland. We are delighted that our team has once again been awarded 14 Gault&Millau points and the Green Michelin Star for sustainability.
